I have been editing Living The Good Fight for what feels like forever. There have been so many moments when I thought to myself, "just quit, no one cares what you have to say, people are sick about hearing cancer stories". But then I think of the 125 days I was away from my kids, fighting for my life. Or I picture the adorable jaundice little faces from the Boston Children's Hospital waiting rooms, or think of the fellow patient who was having her final trip booked to the tropics since that was her dying wish. AND I PRESS ON! Cancer is relentless but so are the many families out there each and every day fighting along with their loved ones just like my family and I fought. My hope is to encourage and support other cancer warriors and families through my memoir Living The Good Fight!
